Donating Should Be Easy

We don’t ask you to wash, sort, box, or bag most donations before pickup. If something needs a little cleaning or minor attention, that’s okay. We’re often able to clean, reuse, repair, or repurpose items ourselves.

If you’re unsure about something, ask us before throwing it away. We’d rather take a look and see whether we can give it another life.

• Items that are unsafe or heavily contaminated
• Certain baby safety items, such as used car seats
• Some hazardous or highly flammable materials that we cannot safely transport or handle
• Some extremely large or unusually heavy items
